Since 2014, Veterans Adaptive Sports and Renewal Coalition held a Lunch Retreat to our disabled veterans from the Palm Beach VA Medical Center. Each quarter the veterans assemble at Renewal Coalition located on the Loxahatchee River, Jupiter for a day out of the Center at a most relaxing venue. On September 21, 2016, the 5th VA Lunch Retreat was held, attended by some 55 veterans. Navy Seals Musuem VA Team hats were also donated to each veteran by Navy Seal Peter Moore. A great day for our veterans.
Veterans Adaptive Sports, in conjunction with Veterans Ocean Adventures (VOA), held the 2nd Annual Scuba Diving Camp in Key Largo on July 9-11, 2016. Over 40 divers particpated in 2 days of diving, 4 open water dives in total. A number of newly certified disabled veterans particpated. All finished the weekend diving safely and with renewed confidence to stay active and stay healthy!

Veterans Adaptive Sports was represented at the 2015 DEMA trade show. The only international trade-only event for the diving, action water sports and travel industries. This is where thousands of dive industry professionals gather for DEMA Show each year to buy and demo products and services, learn important business skills and tips, get industry-specific training necessary for the job and network with fellow industry professionals.
Veterans Adaptive Sports was represented at the 30th annual Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic held in Snowmass Colorado April 2 thru the 9th. They were part of 342 disabled veterans who converged upon Snowmass for a week of adaptive ski instruction and other adaptive sports instruction in events such as cross country skiing, snow shoeing, rock climbing, sled hockey, snowmobiling, curling and scuba diving.
