First Annual Adaptive Bike Trip

In conjunction with Telluride Adaptive Sports Program (TASP), VAS held its first adaptive bike event, a 3 day bike ride in Moab Utah on May 24, 2017. Our disabled veterans must train year round and be in great shape to endure what is a very strenuous daily activity. Hats off to these veterans who inspire others to live healthy and stay in shape despite the challenges they face.

Annual Winter Sports Clinic

Veterans Adaptive Sports was well representing and did extremely well in the many competitive ski events held.

Telluride 2017 Adaptive Ski Week

Veterans Adaptive Sports held it’s annual adaptive ski week in Telluride CO on Feb 6 – 10, 2017. Telluride Adapative Sports Program (TASP) once again hosted the disabled veterans and their families. A number of new veterans joined in and skied for the first time, a great achievement. The returning veterans earn their place by staying in shape and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, they are the core of Veterans Adaptive Sports. Returning veterans sponsor new veterans and mentor them through the program helping them overcome initial fears and meet the challenge.
