In conjunction with Telluride Adaptive Sports Program (TASP), VAS held its first adaptive bike event, a 3 day bike ride in Moab Utah on May 24, 2017. The Moab region is located in Eastern Utah and is surrounded by large red rock desert and landscape. The cyclists using hand cycles and a tandem bicycle toured the vast network of trails that Moab contains and also venture into the Canyonlands National Park. Our disabled veterans must train year round and be in great shape to endure what is a very strenuous daily activity. Hats off to these veterans who inspire others to live healthy and stay in shape despite the challenges they face.
