Veterans Adaptive Sports in conjunction Veterans Ocean Adventures held the 3rd Annual Scuba Camp in Key Largo Florida June 24 -25, 2017. Aboard 2 dive boats from Ocean Divers, our disabled veterans and family members completed 4 scuba dives on the reefs off Key Largo. Also included was 1 wreck dive. We encourage family members to partake in the adaptive diving to help our disabled dive and recreate all year round. Leading healthy lives is always our ultimate goal.

First Annual Adaptive Bike Trip

In conjunction with Telluride Adaptive Sports Program (TASP), VAS held its first adaptive bike event, a 3 day bike ride in Moab Utah on May 24, 2017. Our disabled veterans must train year round and be in great shape to endure what is a very strenuous daily activity. Hats off to these veterans who inspire others to live healthy and stay in shape despite the challenges they face.

The annual VA Winter Sports Clinic at Snowmass CO was held March 27-31, 2017. It was well attended and continues to be the largest disabled sporting event in the country with over 350 disabled veterans participating. Veterans Adaptive Sports was well representing and did extremely well in the many competitive ski events held.
